Leiden Bio Science Park has two “incubator” buildings: the
Bio
Partner Center Leiden I at Galileiweg 8 (former
Wassenaarseweg 72) and the BioPartner Center Leiden II (formally known as the
Academic Business Center (ABC), Niels Bohrweg 11-13). As their name suggests,
these “incubator” buildings are equipped with all the facilities that young
life science start-up companies need to start growing: laboratories, office
space, central facilities, conference rooms, use of the university library
system and IT support.
Also part of the BioPartner Center Leiden is the
new Accelerator building (J.H. Oortweg 21). Companies that are beyond the stage
of start-up and get too big for the incubator can make the move to the
Accelerator. The Accelerator can only be moved to if a company was
first established in the incubator of BioPartner Center Leiden.
