Foreign Exchange Programs
Jamie
Rivas is a Project Coordinator at Mobility International USA. She
organizes professional fellowship programs, and co-leads exchange programs that
take place in Eugene, Oregon and abroad, including programs in Costa Rica,
Bahrain and China. Her work ranges from organizing airline tickets and
interpreters to facilitating site visits and collaborating with exchange
professionals. As a person who highly values recreation and fitness, Jamie has
also enjoyed collaborating with overseas partners to coordinate inclusive
sports and recreation exchange programs for youth with disabilities.Jamie holds a special place in her heart for Latino culture.
She has studied abroad in Mexico and Ecuador and speaks Spanish. Jamie has fond
memories of spending time with her Ecuadorian host family along with weekend
getaways to the sunny beaches of Ecuador (for fresh pineapple and surfing!).
