The Laval Biotechnology Development Centre (LBDC) is a 128,000 sq. ft.
multi-tenant building designed and built in 2003 to meet the highest standards
of the biotech industry (visit www.lbdc.ca ). Its infrastructure meets the
exacting standards of air and water quality, as well as the low vibration
characteristics that are essential for biotech research activities.
Located in
the heart of the Biotech City (north of Montreal), and set on the university
campus of the INRS (National Institute for Scientific Research), The Biotech

conveniently located next to major transportation arteries, and with easy
access to Montreal’s subway system; traveling time by car to Montreal’s CBD is
10-15 minutes. The cluster includes companies such as GSK Biologicals, Roche
Diagnostics, Charles River Laboratories, Servier Canada, LAB, Labopharm,
Neurochem, Biosyntech, Ethypharm, Prometic, and others.
