Foreign Exchange Programs For High School Students
Ying is
an international student from China currently in her 4th year studying in the accounting
program. As a high school student, she went on a one-year exchange to the
United States studying at Huntington Beach High School. She has experiences as
a teaching assistant and a tutor for a variety of courses at Telfer. Her
university life has been greatly enriched by the various extra curriculum
activities she took part in, and she encourages all other international
students to get involved themselves. She enjoys going to networking events and
workshops, holds the position as the Telfer Career Centre Ambassador and is an
active volunteer with the university’s Community Life Service. She is excited
about meeting all the international students like herself, making friends with
them, and doing her best to help them with their academic and personal transition
into the Telfer community.
